Overview

Toast is driven by building the all-in-one restaurant platform that helps restaurants operate their business, increase sales, engage guests, and keep employees happy.

Responsibilities
  • Learn the Toast POS system and become a product expert.
  • Install & configure Toast hardware and networking devices including terminals, handhelds, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with internal Toast teams to find diverse business solutions that will make a restaurant THRIVE.
  • Conduct restaurant operation consultation and training sessions with all restaurant stakeholders to optimise Toast POS for their positions and operations.
  • Maintain and document implementation plans and network diagrams.
  • Test / troubleshoot unknown networking problems.
  • Terminate Ethernet cables if needed.
  • Implementation (75%) - serve as the on-site (or remote) point of contact for customers; conduct site surveys to ensure customers understand physical and network requirements before installation; complete installation of hardware and networking equipment; train owners, managers, FOH & BOH teams to leverage Toast; provide on-site or remote support after activation dates.
  • Internal best practices documentation and enablement (10%) - document country-specific best practices and nuances, train and ramp up new FITs and regional contracting partners.
  • Post Live Relationship Management (15%) - ensure a smooth transition to post-onboarding, provide remote go-live support during the first days of usage, troubleshoot problems or provide follow-up training; may require site visits and some after-hours support for equipment break-fix; travel within local area (up to 100%).
  • The ideal candidate will have flexibility with hours and may work early mornings, nights, and ad-hoc weekend hours depending on customer needs.

  • Creative thinking and service-oriented solution recommendations that exceed customer expectations.
