Job summary

Solera is seeking an Implementation Specialist (Field Engineer) in the United Kingdom to deliver complex and bespoke customer installations, site visits for fault diagnosis, repairs, and training. You will report to the Head of Implementation for North Europe & Africa.

You will gather requirements, develop statements of work, and collaborate with product and training teams to ensure customer requirements are met and SLAs are achieved.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in vehicle telematics and related hardware installations.
• Experience in fleet or automotive markets; able to gather requirements and deliver value solutions.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills; capable of training drivers and users.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies; Scrum experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PLG, LGV/HGV, ECU CANBUS, FMS, and multi-plex wiring systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Office365.

Responsibilities

• Support pre- and post-sales by recommending best practice Fleet Solutions.
• Technical customer-facing expert, able to communicate clearly with business and technical contacts.
• Gather customer requirements to deliver a thorough and customer-focused implementation.
• Develop the Statement of Work based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with product and training teams to deliver requirements and new product developments.
• Configure the platform on-site based on customer requirements.
• Deliver PBET training to customers and drivers.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting, installation, repair or replacement to meet SLAs and minimize downtime.
• Cross-functional alignment with product and sales to align on roadmap and revenue expectations.
• Manage complex pilots and service visits with on-site support.
