Job summary

Turn IT on, part of the Transforming Learning Group, seeks a Junior ICT Consultant in Oxford with a passion for technology and strong customer service. The role involves on-site support across schools in Oxford and Oxfordshire, with driver’s license and own car required.

You will maintain IT hardware, install software, and support users with Office365, helping schools improve ICT provisions for effective teaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in ICT Technician/2nd line support, preferably in education.
• Real flair for technology combined with a passion for exemplary customer service.
• Able to work across schools, travel locally and communicate effectively with customers.
• Self-motivated team player with good problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and manage technical issues impacting school operations with robust solutions.
• Install or repair computers with standardised applications and networking software and diagnose problems.
• Respond to technical duties related to the network and desktop services, including upgrades.
• Maintain school IT hardware and services and support ICT provisions for teaching and learning.
