Job summary

KFC UK & Ireland is seeking a People Operations Advisor to be the regional expert on our people policies and employment law. You’ll work closely with Area Coaches to ensure fair, compliant practices across restaurants and coach leaders through absence, probation, performance and complex employee relations matters.

This field-based role is hands-on, spending time in restaurants to turn policy into practical action and to grow capable leaders that drive engagement and performance.

Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR/People policy.
• Experience supporting employee relations cases across the employee lifecycle.
• Confidence coaching managers through difficult people decisions.
• Ability to identify people risk, knowing when to resolve independently and when to escalate.
• Confidence using people data to identify trends and prioritize intervention.
• Experience in multi-site, operational, hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to manage the full employee lifecycle consistently and confidently.
• Translate employment law and policies into practical guidance for restaurant leaders.
• Identify trends in absence, probation, turnover, performance and employee relations.
• Coach leaders to make great people decisions and intervene early when needed.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and development for restaurant teams.
• Provide hands-on support in person across the region to improve practices.
