Total Fitness in the United Kingdom is seeking an HR Advisor to provide practical, commercially focused HR guidance to managers and supervisors. You will manage employee relations cases, apply employment law and policies, and support change projects across the business.

You will work with the wider People Team to develop manager capability, ensure confidentiality, and deliver data-driven HR insights. This role requires travel to multiple health clubs and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Formación

• Experience working within a generalist HR or HR advisory role.
• CIPD Level 3 or above.
• Practical experience managing or advising on employee relations cases, including conduct, grievance, absence, performance and capability.
• A good working knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
• Confidence coaching and advising managers at different levels.
• The ability to balance employee experience, business needs and organisational risk when providing advice.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, solution-focused approach.
• The ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel as needed to any of our 15 Health Clubs.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a varied employee relations caseload, providing timely, practical and commercially focused advice to managers and supervisors.
• Advise on conduct, grievance, absence, performance and workplace conflict, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
• Apply employment legislation, policy and HR best practice to support sound decisions.
• Identify and assess people-related risks, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality of information.
• Support the consistent application of policies and standards across the organisation.
• Coach managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
• Provide practical guidance to help managers understand responsibilities and make informed decisions.
• Support early intervention and resolution of employee issues to prevent escalation.
• Build trusted relationships with managers and balance commercial outcomes with colleague experience.
• Help leaders balance commercial outcomes with colleague experience and engagement.
• Support a culture of accountability, consistency and fairness across all people decisions.
• Work with Group HR Operations Manager on organisational change programmes.
• Provide HR guidance through change processes and documentation.
• Help identify people risks with organisational changes.
• Ensure change activity is delivered fairly and in line with policies.
• Help create data-informed decision making across the People Team.
