Mears is hiring a Housing Support Officer to assist asylum seekers through their Home Office right-to-work process. The role involves practical and emotional support, safeguarding, wellbeing monitoring, and meticulous record-keeping for compliance.

You should be resilient, empathetic and service‑oriented, and be willing to travel between sites in West Dumbartonshire. The position is full-time, 40 hours weekly, with OOH duties one week in twelve and a company vehicle or car allowance.

Qualificações

• Support asylum seekers throughout their application process, ensuring welfare and safeguarding needs are met.
• Provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families.
• Identify needs and put in place support packages to promote independence.
• Work with vulnerable client groups and carry out risk assessments for audits.
