Mears is seeking a Housing Support Officer in Dundee to assist asylum seekers with the Home Office right-to-work process. This role delivers practical and emotional support, monitors welfare, and keeps compliant records across sites.

You will manage a portfolio of homes, coordinate move-ins/outs and inspections, and work with partner organisations to ensure appropriate support is in place. A full UK driving licence and a flexible, empathetic approach are essential.

• Experience delivering welfare and safeguarding support
• Strong communication and liaison skills with diverse groups
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports

Responsabilités

• Support asylum seekers throughout their application process and address welfare needs
• Provide practical and emotional support to individuals and families
• Identify needs and implement support packages to promote independence
• Work with vulnerable groups including those with mental health needs
• Carry out risk assessments and maintain audit-ready records
• Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and site inspections
• Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and care providers
• Travel between sites and maintain professional boundaries
