Job summary

Wernick Power Solutions in Aldridge is seeking a skilled Generator Service Engineer to ensure uptime and presentation of diesel generators, tanks, and ancillaries. You will inspect, test, service, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs and installations while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will work under the Service Manager, participate in a paid on-call rota, and support depot operations with a strong customer service focus and commitment to continuous development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with diesel-powered generators and related equipment.
• Proven ability to diagnose faults, dismantle, repair and test components.
• Experience in service, maintenance, installation or depot environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and servicing of power generation equipment.
• Address breakdowns, carry out essential repairs, and install/commission equipment.
• Maintain safety standards and deliver quality customer service.
• Manage administration for breakdowns, services, and timesheets.
