Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a hands-on Field Engineer to diagnose cellular network issues and support vehicle installation projects across major operational sites in the UK. The role combines fault finding with practical installations and requires reliability for field work.

You will travel to airports, work on PBE Axell systems, and operate within an on-call rota as the role develops. A company car is provided and overtime opportunities are available, with long-term career

Qualifications

Cellular fault finding experience is the core technical requirement.
Full UK driving licence for airport access and on-site driving.
5 years of verifiable background history for airside pass; gaps >28 days must be justified.
Ability to start within a two-month notice period; earlier availability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Carrying out cellular fault finding on PBE Axell systems and related infra at a major UK airport.
Documenting fault findings using internal templates for escalation.
Act as primary engineer for this subcontracted account for 15-20 days per month.
Support vehicle installation work as a secondary stream outside airport commitment.
Travel to and operate within airport environments as required.
Contribute to on-call rota as role develops.
