Job summary

Air IT is seeking a Field Engineer to deliver on-site IT support and customer-focused service across client environments in the UK. You will install, maintain, and upgrade infrastructure and respond to incidents while documenting work in the PSA system.

You will work across scheduled visits, urgent incidents, and remote support, building trusted client relationships. A full UK driving licence and security-conscious approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field engineering or IT support roles with on-site visits.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and IaaS technologies.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, routing and switching.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence with business insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support across client environments.
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade IT infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents and requests within SLAs.
• Document work and maintain client records in PSA system.
• Manage workload and deliver excellent customer service.
• Build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Identify opportunities to improve client systems and delivery.
• Ensure work complies with security and safety standards.
• Support project delivery with Professional Services Engineers.
• Provide remote support via Service Desk.
• Attend urgent Priority 1 site visits when required.
