Job summary

Eurofins Forensic Services in the UK is seeking an IT Field Service Engineer to deliver hands-on IT support across UK sites. You will maintain end-user computing, laboratory IT equipment and site-based technology, ensuring reliability, security and compliance.

The role involves deployments, refresh programmes, upgrades and collaboration with Infrastructure teams. A Full UK driving licence is required, visa sponsorship is not provided, and NPPV3 + SC clearance with 5 years' UK residency is

Qualifications

• Experience in IT field service, desktop support, or similar end user support role.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows desktops and laptops and peripherals.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and laboratory devices.
• Support forensic laboratories with minimal disruption to operations.
• Resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.
• Install, configure, maintain, and replace IT hardware and software.
• Assist with user account setup, access requests and device onboarding.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Escalate unresolved issues to lead engineer or infrastructure teams.
• Support IT rollouts, refreshes and site changes.
• Participate in on-call rota for out-of-hours support when required.
• Maintain records in ticketing/asset systems and manage lifecycle of IT assets.
