Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Field-Based Product Support Application Specialist in South Wales on a 12-month contract. You will support chemistry and immunoassay analysers, deliver end-user training, and troubleshoot application issues across South Wales and occasionally the UK.

You should have diagnostics experience, strong communication, and a willingness to travel. A full UK driving licence is required to meet customer demands and site installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical diagnostics, pathology laboratories, or healthcare technology.
• Strong understanding of laboratory practices and diagnostic workflows.
• Proven troubleshooting and technical support experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across the UK when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver implementation and installation support for laboratory systems.
• Provide end-user training to laboratory scientists and healthcare professionals.
• Troubleshoot technical and application-related issues, delivering reactive support when required.
• Optimise laboratory workflows and system performance through consultation and expert guidance.
• Support product maintenance, software updates, and analytical reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams during tenders, demonstrations, customer consultations, and third-party engagements.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
