Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Product Support Application Specialist for South Wales. This field-based, 12-month contract role focuses on delivering expert application support, training, and system optimisation for laboratories across South Wales and UK.

You will work with biomedical scientists and diagnostics professionals to support chemistry and immunoassay analysers, providing installation, end-user training, troubleshooting, and workflow improvements while travelling as required.

Qualifications

Experience in medical diagnostics, pathology laboratories, or healthcare technology.
Strong understanding of lab practices and diagnostic workflows.
Proven troubleshooting and technical support experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver implementation and installation support for laboratory systems.
Provide end-user training to laboratory scientists and healthcare professionals.
Troubleshoot technical and application-related issues, delivering reactive support when required.
Optimize laboratory workflows and system performance through consultation and expert guidance.
Support product maintenance, software updates, and analytical reviews.
Collaborate with internal teams during tenders, demonstrations, customer consultations, and third-party engagements.
Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor.
