Job summary

Randstad Digital in the UK is seeking a Product Support – Application Specialist to join a central technical team supporting diagnostic laboratory accounts across South Wales. The role is field-based, ideal for Biomedical Scientists or Diagnostics Specialists, delivering proactive and reactive technical support, workflow optimization, and system implementations.

Qualifications

• Background in medical diagnostics or clinical laboratory practices (NHS or private).
• Experience operating or troubleshooting automated diagnostic equipment and lab software (LIMS).
• UK driving license and passport required for travel.

Responsibilities

• Implementation & Installation: support new system installations, go-live phases and upgrades.
• User Training: conduct structured training for Biomedical Scientists and lab staff.
• Reactive & Proactive Support: troubleshoot analytical, operational and software issues.
• Workflow Optimisation: evaluate operations, design streamlined workflows and perform analyses.
• Commercial & Technical Collaboration: support demos, tenders and integration consults.
