Job summary

Vistry Group is seeking a Customer Service Technician to join the Cornwall South West team. You will deliver high-quality customer service, perform remedial carpentry, basic plumbing, and finish work on time at the first visit, traveling as needed to occupied and unoccupied properties.

Qualifications

• Carpentry, making good, painting and decoration, dry lining, tiling and grouting; kitchen door/units work.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and ability to diagnose issues.
• Mastic/sealant skills in finishes.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel.
• Strong customer communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• A keen eye for detail and final finish.

Responsibilities

• Carry out remedial works as deployed by the customer service team.
• Organise workload, review defects lists, ensure materials ready for appointments.
• Complete works to a high standard on time at first visit.
• Assist with inspections and defects resolution with Area Manager.
• Provide feedback on subcontractor quality and safety.
• Work in a team and support the Customer Service Manager.
