Job summary

Genesis Homes are recruiting a Customer Services Maintenance Technician to deliver remedial and maintenance works in new homes, ensuring a high-standard customer experience. The role involves visiting customers at home for various remedial tasks, and maintaining safety and quality across duties.

You will manage workloads to meet SLAs, perform planned maintenance, diagnose faults and ensure clean, safe working areas, with a keen eye for detail in finishes.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced, competent person and confident communicator, have a positive outlook, be conscientious and enjoy problem solving.
• Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools.
• Painting and Joinery experience is required.
• Be self-motivated and able to work from own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with people on a personal level.
• Must hold a full Driving Licence, valid to drive in the UK.
• Must hold a relevant CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete high-quality remedial works in a timely manner and in accordance with set SLA’s.
• Visiting Customers at home to undertake a range of remedial work (which can include carpentry, decorating, plastering).
• Carry out planned maintenance and repair improvements to occupied properties.
• Diagnose and repair faults.
• Maintain the cleanliness of working areas.
• Work safely, ensuring safety and well-being of yourself, customers and colleagues.
• A keen eye for detail and finish will be vital.
