Job summary

Convatec is seeking a Clinical Development Specialist for a field-based role in the UK. You will contribute to sales performance through clinical influence, support new account implementations, and mobilise internal and external stakeholders to optimise patient outcomes.

You will disseminate Convatec’s clinical and value-based messaging, lead education initiatives, and drive evidence-based improvements across Continence Care and Amcare.

Qualifications

• Nurse (RGN) or Pharmacist with MedTech registration.
• Experience in hospital or community healthcare, incl. continence.
• Experience delivering clinical education and mentoring.
• Ability to translate clinical evidence into practical improvements.
• Strong commercial awareness to support product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical support to patients and healthcare professionals across Continence Care and Amcare services.
• Deliver patient reviews and support ISC clinics in NHS settings for appropriate product choice.
• Build relationships with healthcare professionals to develop services and pathways.
• Provide clinical expertise for tenders, contracts, and new customer implementations.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Regulatory and Amcare teams to support business objectives and communicate clinical value.
• Ensure all clinical activities comply with professional standards and policies.
