Job summary

Convatec is seeking a Continence Care Specialist to drive sustainable territory growth by engaging with clinical and commercial stakeholders in community and acute care settings across the UK. You will educate, train, implement pathways, and pull-through approved initiatives to accelerate product adoption.

You will work under the Strategic Partnership Manager, delivering formulary wins, clinical evaluations, and regional strategies with 90% field-facing activity and a company car provided.

Qualifications

• Proven clinical experience and background.
• Sales experience in medical devices or pharmaceutical industries with hospital/community exposure.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
• Degree education, ideally scientific/healthcare background.
• Highly motivated, resilient and results‑oriented.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong territory planning and account management.
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actions.
• Commercial acumen and financial accountability.
• Proficient IT skills and CRM experience.
• English language as mother tongue or high proficiency.
• Full driving license and UK work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with prescribing and clinical stakeholders across acute and community care settings.
• Initiate and support product evaluations in hospitals and communities with Clinical Development Manager.
• Drive product uptake after formulary approval and inclusion in guidelines.
• Maximise opportunities by ensuring effective pull-through of approved formularies and pathways.
• Increase access to Convatec brands through formulary inclusion and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrate clinical, product and market knowledge across key therapy areas.
• Develop and execute robust account plans aligned to regional strategies.
• Protect and grow business through stakeholder management and partnerships.
• Deliver training to ensure safe, effective use of Convatec products.
• Support audits and the collection of real-world evidence and outcomes data.
• Plan and implement local educational initiatives and service improvement projects.
• Meet performance metrics and Sales Force Effectiveness standards while complying with policies.
• Utilise CRM systems to record all interactions, opportunities and activities.
