Home Instead Pocklington & Brough is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to support Care Professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centred care in clients’ homes. You will oversee competency, safety, and continuity of care while ensuring adherence to plans and organisational standards.

The role involves coaching, staff development, and safeguarding duties, with hours set at 37 hours plus additional coverage as needed. Salary will be discussed based on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience providing care within a domiciliary care setting.
• Understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and risk management.
• Competence in medication, moving and handling, catheter care, and other specialist care areas.
• Relevant Assessor qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work independently while remaining connected to wider teams.
• Experience in a supervisory, senior carer, or mentoring role.
• Familiarity with regulatory inspection frameworks (e.g. CQC).
• Experience supporting staff retention and engagement initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Support Quality Care in the Field and provide visible support to Care Pros in the community.
• Monitor quality of care through observation and spot checks.
• Ensure care is delivered in line with care plans, risk assessments and standards.
• Act promptly on concerns related to care quality, wellbeing or safety, escalating as needed.
• Carry out competency assessments and signoffs safely and effectively.
• Work with Care Manager and Trainer to support learning and development.
