Job summary

Cera Care is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee community-based care delivery. You will supervise and mentor field staff, conduct client assessments, and ensure services comply with quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, person-centred care knowledge, and the ability to work independently. A full driving licence is essential as the role covers client visits across the locality.

Qualifications

• Minimum supervisory experience in health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Caring, professional and supportive leadership approach.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
• NVQ Level 3 or above or working towards qualification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments, reviews and reassessments in line with care plans.
• Supervise, support and mentor care workers in the field.
• Carry out spot checks, supervisions and observations of care staff.
• Ensure care delivery meets regulatory, company and quality standards.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, families and care staff.
• Support onboarding, training and competency assessments of new carers.
• Accurately document visits, reports and follow-up actions.
• Respond to concerns, incidents or changes in client needs promptly.
• Take part in on-call duties.

Position: Field Care Supervisor

Reporting to: Registered Manager

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5hrs per week

Salary: £28,500 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, organised, and experienced Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality care in the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting care staff, and ensuring clients receive safe, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
