Job summary

Cera is seeking a compassionate, organised Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality care in the community. This field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting care staff, and ensuring clients receive safe, person-centred care.

You will supervise, mentor care workers, conduct assessments, document visits, and participate in on-call duties. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential; NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments, reviews, and reassessments in line with care plans.
• Supervise, support, and mentor care workers in the field.
• Carry out spot checks, supervisions, and observations of care staff.
• Ensure care delivery meets regulatory, company, and quality standards.
• Act as a point of contact for clients, families, and care staff.
• Support onboarding, training, and competency assessments of new carers.
• Accurately document visits, reports, and follow-up actions.
• Respond to concerns, incidents, or changes in client needs promptly.
• Take part in on call duties.
