Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare is seeking a Rehabilitation Officer - Hearing Impairment to support profoundly deaf adults in their homes and communities. The role requires Level 3 BSL qualification and the ability to travel across rural Dorset between Blandford and Dorchester.

The successful candidate will join the Sight and Hearing team, working four days a week (20 hours) with offices in Blandford and Dorchester. DBS enhanced disclosure is required and a company pension scheme is provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess Level 3 BSL qualification.
• Experience working with profoundly deaf adults in homes and community.
• Willingness to travel between Blandford/Dorchester catchment area. (Dorset)

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation, information, advice, and equipment to adults with sight or hearing impairments.
• Travel to home visits, meetings, and events within Dorset Council catchment.
• Work across two offices in Blandford and Dorchester and cooperate with the team.
