Job summary

SGN in Dundee is seeking a Team Manager (Operations) to lead field-based teams, manage operational activities within budget, and ensure safe, reliable service for customers. The role requires extensive gas industry knowledge and strong leadership.

You will oversee staff and contractors, drive performance improvements, and coach teams. A full clean UK driving license is essential; the position is full-time and salary range £44,400–£55,500 per year, dependent on skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and health and safety policies.
• Highly motivated with a flexible, positive approach to work.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills; initiative.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Commitment to safety and to coaching and leadership.
• Willing to work extra to support colleagues during high workloads.
• Primarily field-based; on-site driving team performance.
