Job summary

Flagship Housing is seeking a Housing Officer to proactively manage tenancy support across the Field-based area from Lowestoft to Woodbridge. You will work with customers to sustain their tenancy, resolving housing issues with empathy and professionalism, while building trusted relationships in the community.

Qualifications

• GCSE-level education (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• providing proactive tenancy management and support to customers.
• building strong relationships with tenants and helping them sustain their tenancy.
• identifying customer needs and connecting them with appropriate support services.
• managing cases involving safeguarding concerns, hoarding, property condition issues and customer wellbeing.
• supporting customers experiencing complex circumstances, including those requiring additional support.
• investigating and managing tenancy breaches and potential tenancy fraud cases.
• ensuring services are delivered in line with housing legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
• working closely with your Housing Manager and internal teams to deliver a customer-focused service.
