Job summary

Swindale Parks (Sales & Marketing) Recruitment seeks an experienced Technical Sales Engineer for a long-established fabrication and precision engineering business in the West Midlands. The role requires a self-starter with a proven sales record and the ability to read engineering drawings.

You will target new customers, create profitable pipelines, produce quotes with engineering support, and develop account management to grow revenue while coordinating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales achievement within the precision engineering sector.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Willingness to undertake UK-wide travel (and some European travel) as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach new customers to build a profitable pipeline around fabrication and precision engineering solutions.
• Generate estimates and sales proposals and present them to clients.
• Account management to optimise revenue from established customers.
• Support engineering and production teams during quotes and projects.
