Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established Engineering Consultancy near Hertfordshire. You will spearhead sales across the UK, taking ownership of the Southern territory (M62 corridor, South of England and Wales) and build strong customer relationships to drive sustainable revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will be commercially astute, self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales within heavy industry (engineering/manufacturing).
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and close orders.
• Self-motivated, well-organised and commercially focused.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the Southern sales territory (M62 corridor, South of England, Wales).
• Identify opportunities and build long-term customer relationships.
• Lead quotations and tenders, coordinating with proposals.
• Collaborate with SLT to set and monitor sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
