Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd in Norwich is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business, convert prospects and build long-term client relationships in a target-driven, field-based sales role.

You will identify opportunities, manage your pipeline, visit clients, and aim to exceed sales targets, with uncapped commission and flexible earning potential. This full-time position is based in Norwich.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales or recruitment.
• Recruitment experience is preferred, but not essential.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Generate leads through proactive sales and business development activity
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Conduct face-to-face client visits and develop opportunities across the local area
• Manage your own sales pipeline from initial contact through to conversion
• Convert prospects into new clients and develop long-term accounts
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs
• Maintain regular contact with clients to identify further opportunities
• Represent the business professionally and build a strong local presence
