Job summary

KCM Waste Management is seeking a Business Development Executive for a field-based role across Wakefield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and surrounding areas. You will build the client base, perform cold calls and report to the Head of Sales, with a 90% field-facing focus and a 40-hour workweek.

The package includes a £28,000 basic salary, a commission scheme, company car, and 20 days plus 8 bank holidays. Immediate start available for a candidate with solid field sales experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar field-based sales role.
• Confident, engaging and persuasive personality.
• Resilient with persistence in pursuing leads and closing deals.
• Hold a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Represent KCM Waste Management within your area and secure new business opportunities.
• Engage in cold calling and establish a strong local presence.
• Attend weekly sales meetings at head office to review progress and refine strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to clients.
• Meet and exceed sales targets.
