Major Recruitment North West Perms is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover Newcastle/Middlesbrough. The role offers a £40,000 base salary, a £5,400 car allowance, and 10% commission, with a realistic OTE of £60,000+. You will focus on new business while managing a portfolio of accounts.

You will travel within a 50-75 mile radius and develop opportunities across PPE, workwear, office supplies, or stationery sectors. A full UK driving licence is essential for this field-based role.

Qualifications

• Proven field sales or business development experience.
• Experience in PPE, workwear, office supplies, or stationery sectors.
• Ability to generate and convert own leads.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Generate your own leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Arrange and attend customer meetings across your territory.
• Win new B2B customers and develop long-term relationships.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and product presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Manage your diary, territory and CRM activity.
