Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an experienced AV Service Engineer to join a hands-on, field-based role across commercial AV environments. You will diagnose faults on customer sites, repair equipment and ensure systems operate correctly, with a strong emphasis on independent on-site work and clear communication.

The role involves fault finding across Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Dante and related AV technologies, with occasional reporting and liaison with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Must have AV industry experience.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving AV system issues.
• Hands-on problem solving approach.
• Ability to work independently on customer sites.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Dante is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve AV faults.
• Diagnose technical issues across commercial AV systems.
• Carry out repairs, replacements and remedial works.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment, signal paths, connectivity and system issues.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing where required.
• Support customers with technical issues and provide on-site service.
• Work with existing AV installations to identify fault causes and implement solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work.
