Job summary

Red King Resourcing is seeking an experienced AV Service Engineer to join an established commercial AV company. This hands-on field role focuses on fault finding, troubleshooting and resolving issues on customer sites rather than purely installations.

You will diagnose faults across commercial AV environments, carry out repairs, service reports, and liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure problems are resolved efficiently. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience within AV environments is essential.
• Hands-on problem solving and on-site service skills required.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to investigate and resolve AV faults
• Diagnose technical issues across a range of commercial AV systems
• Carry out repairs, replacements and remedial works
• Troubleshoot AV equipment, signal paths, connectivity and system issues
• Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing where required
• Support customers with technical issues and provide professional on-site service
• Work with existing AV installations to identify the cause of faults and implement effective solutions
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work undertaken
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently
