Job summary

Alecto Recruitment is seeking a Senior AV Service Engineer to own complex AV/VC/UC faults, work across field service engagements in London, and provide remote support when needed. This senior role sits within an established service team and acts as an escalation point for other engineers.

You'll mentor peers, support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Dante and related AV systems, and ensure accurate documentation, SLAs and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in professional AV service and support.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across AV/VC/UC.
• Experience with corporate AV environments and collaboration systems.
• Familiarity with Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work in field-based roles.

Responsibilities

• Own AV service calls from diagnosis to resolution on-site or remote.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair AV/VC/UC systems.
• Provide remote support via phone, email and video conferences.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
• Work within customer SLAs and report on issues.
