Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd is seeking a confident Field‑Based AV Engineer to join the expanding installation and service team. The role covers AV displays, projectors, audio, control systems and VC platforms across commercial, corporate, education, and public sector sites.

You will manage on-site visits, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance, support project managers, and deliver clear customer-focused technical support while meeting health & safety and manufacturer specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as an AV Engineer or AV Technician in a field-based role.
• Solid understanding of AV signal flow, hardware and control systems.
• Familiarity with VC technologies and installation & commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems and video conferencing platforms
• Conduct on-site service visits, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Complete structured cabling, terminations and equipment mounting to professional standards
• Support project managers with system testing, documentation and client handover
• Provide clear, customer-focused technical support during installation and service visits
• Ensure all work meets health & safety requirements and manufacturer specifications
