Job summary

Circet UK is hiring a Service Delivery Technician to join our Thornhill team. You will organise daily and weekly fibre installation and repair work, outdoors in all weather, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will perform surveying, testing, and troubleshooting of fibre installations, conduct site inspections, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality outcomes. Training is provided for telecoms experience, and flexibility for travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of demanding work including climbing up to 15m, underground tasks, and heavy lifting in all weather.
• Full clean UK manual driving licence is required.
• Basic DBS check.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills across all technical levels.
• Telecoms experience preferred; full training provided for the right candidate.
• Good understanding of health & safety practices.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Organise your daily and weekly work schedule to ensure timely Fibre installations and repairs, aligning with client expectations and business goals.
• Work outdoors in a physically demanding role and potentially adverse weather conditions to complete multiple installations per day.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring interactions with residents, clients, and third-party stakeholders are professional and solution-focused.
• Perform full Fibre installations, including surveying, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring adherence to quality and industry standards.
• Conduct site inspections to assess installation feasibility, evaluate infrastructure conditions, and provide risk assessments, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in team meetings, providing feedback and collaborating with colleagues and managers to improve performance.
• Adhere to Circet safety standards and proactively address potential risks in the field.
• Resolve client and customer complaints promptly and professionally, maintaining strong relationships and high satisfaction levels.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
