Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Female Support Worker in Callington, Cornwall for a 24-hour per week role. The position includes evenings, nights and weekends with driving required to support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

The role involves day-to-day support, promoting independence, and carrying out personal care and medication administration as needed. Applicants must have a full UK driving license and experience with challenging behaviours.

  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.

JOB ROLE:Support Worker

REQUIREMENTS:Full UK Manual Driving License + previous experience working with challenging behaviours.

Please note we require a Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement for the people we are supporting making this position exempt from the gender discrimination rule

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Callingtonprovides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries

We work in partnership with Local Health Professionals such as social workers, community nurses, and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Person Centred Planning Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
