Job summary

Keys Group in Redruth, Cornwall is seeking a Senior Support Worker to lead day-to-day support and oversee a team in a specialist Supported Living and Outreach setting. The role involves implementing care plans, promoting independence and coordinating with health professionals.

Applicants should hold a Full UK manual driving license and ideally NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with a passion for delivering person-centred care and upholding the company values.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Support Workers.

  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans.
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families.
  • Complete supervisions and audits.
  • Ensure staff perform duties to required standards and contribute to a happy, homely atmosphere.

40 hours per week

About Cornwall Supported Living

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service Cornwall, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support that enables independence and meets each individual's needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, You Will Be Involved In The Day-to-day Support And Routine Of The People Within The Service Including

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for people we support, in line with care and support plans
  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaise with health professionals and their families
  • Complete supervisions and audits
  • To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
