Job summary

The Avenues Trust Group in Norwich is seeking Female Support Workers to join a brand-new supported living service. You will support 18 people with learning and physical disabilities and autism in a community of self-contained flats and bungalows.

This values-led, person-first role focuses on building meaningful relationships, delivering tailored care and enabling independence while you grow with access to training and ongoing support.

• Positive, fun, can-do attitude with enthusiasm for delivering great support.
• Experience is welcome but values, attitude and enthusiasm matter most.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people to enjoy everyday life and make the most of their local community (and beyond!).
• Helping people stay connected with family, friends and social activities.
• Supporting the management of personal finances.
• Keeping homes clean, comfortable and welcoming — including shopping trips.
• Providing and encouraging personal care in a respectful, empowering way.

• £25,845 per annum (pro rata)
• Full time or part time hours available
• Drivers with own car or holding a full UK driving licence desirable but not essential

You’ll be supporting 18 people with learning and physical disabilities and autism, all living independently in a beautifully designed community of self-contained flats and bungalows.

What you’ll be doing

No two days are the same but your day might include:

• Supporting people to enjoy everyday life and make the most of their local community (and beyond!)
• Helping people stay connected with family, friends and social activities
• Supporting the management of personal finances
• Keeping homes clean, comfortable and welcoming — including shopping trips
• Providing and encouraging personal care in a respectful, empowering way
• And most importantly — enjoying what you do!
