Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Female Support Worker for our Birchwood Bungalow residential service in St Albans. You will help people gain independence, support with daily living, personal care, and community access, within a caring, dynamic team.

Role involves flexible shifts, must hold a full UK driving licence, and prior experience with Positive Behaviour Support is preferred. DBS checks and references will be required; great benefits and progression opportunities are offered.

Female Support Worker – Birchwood Bungalow - £12.79 up to £13.79 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

shift pattern - 07:00am - 2pm & 2pm till 9pm - Fully Flexible

Full Clean UK Driver's License is required for this position

As a support worker with us, you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in St Albans is a welcoming and friendly environment, and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach and preferably have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress.
