Job summary

Voyage Care's Blofield Heath service is seeking caring Female Support Workers to help people gain independence in daily life within a dynamic team. You will support individuals to develop skills and participate in activities, promoting confidence and wellbeing.

Role involves assisting with personal care, teaching life skills, and encouraging community involvement. A full UK driving license is required; shifts include early to late patterns.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required for this post.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including distress, autism, or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life within a supportive team.

Female Support Worker – Blofield Heath - £13.05 ph

Typical Shifts are: Mixed shifts from 7/8am - 3pm - 3pm to 10 pm - wake nights or sleeps may be required as part of this role - shifts are provided 4 weeks in advance.

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service in Blofield Heath is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, possible forensic histories and people who may have experienced trauma.
