Job summary

Voyage Care in Hitchin is seeking a Female Support Worker to help residents gain independence through daily living activities, personal care, and community engagement. You’ll work in a friendly residential setting as part of a dedicated team, supporting individuals with activities, social outings, and life skills development.

A genuine caring attitude and willingness to learn are essential; a full UK driving licence is preferred. DBS checks will be completed.

Job description

Female Support Worker – Hitchin - £12.79 per hour

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our residential service in Hitchin is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday. A full UK driving license is required for this role.
