Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band Non-clinical (administrative) Navigator to support patients referred with suspected GI cancer. You will track patients from referral through to diagnosis, coordinate referrals, triage, and book clinic appointments as part of the Faster Diagnosis Standard pathway.

Working closely with the GI team and nursing staff, you will respond to patient queries, act as a first point of contact, and liaise with primary and secondary care

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS administrative roles preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Track patients from referral through to diagnosis and coordinate referrals, triage, and booking of clinic appointments.
• Provide a point of contact for patients and respond to queries or redirect to clinical staff as appropriate.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals across primary and secondary care and work closely with the administrative and nursing team.
