Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Fast Fit Technician for their client’s busy Mosborough centre. You’ll review work on customer vehicles and carry out a wide range of fast fit mechanical tasks as well as light and full-service work.

No formal qualification required; the client will support you to gain Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications, with extensive training, progression, and team-based target setting.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Previous Vehicle Technician experience preferred, no formal qualifications needed.
• Passion for automotive industry and willingness to learn.
• Desire to develop knowledge of Hybrid cars.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing work on customers' vehicles and carrying out fast fit mechanical tasks.
• Perform light and full-service work as required.
• Operate wheel alignment machinery, interpret readings and adjust precisely.
• Carrying out tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements and repairs across makes.
• Work with workshop team to meet targets and support colleagues.
• Collaborate with other Vehicle Technicians to ensure quality workmanship.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Fast Fit Technician based at their retail centre in Mosborough.

As a Vehicle Technician you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, completing wide range of fast fit mechanical work and light and full-service work.

You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role. Our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!

Location: Mosborough

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £3,600

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

• Operating precision wheel alignment machinery, interpreting readings, and completing accurate adjustments
• Carrying out precise tyre diagnostics, fast-fit replacements, and repairs across various vehicle makes
• Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
• Work as a team with the other Vehicle Technicians

To be a Vehicle Technician you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
