Fanatics Inc. is seeking a Casual Retail Assistant for the Barnsley FC Store in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This part-time role centers on front-line selling and delivering an exceptional fan experience while upholding high retail standards during matches and events.

Greet fans, recommend products, and process sales via the Fanatics POS. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and a professional approach to maintain the Fanatics brand across events and store operations.

Qualifications

• Past experience working in retail or sales preferred.
• Availability to work extended hours on game days and during events.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Foreign language skills are beneficial but not essential.
• Demonstrated professionalism and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet fans and ask questions to help make their shopping experience an enjoyable one
• Make recommendations based on observations and conversations with fans
• Help execute a brand connection by ensuring fans enjoy a seamless shopping experience
• Maintain sales floor and/or stockroom standards with an eye to detail
• Process sales transactions via the Fanatics Point of Sale System (POS)
• Housekeeping, cleanliness, and general standards
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and customer service to ensure the Fanatics Brand and Team/League are always positively represented
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the management team
