Join us as a Family Hub Family Help Outreach Worker at Manchester City Council

We are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our Early Years Service Family Hub team. This full-time, temporary role (until 31 March 2026) involves working as part of a multi-agency team to support families with children under 5 years old, helping them access services and improve developmental outcomes.

• Working hours: 35 hours per week
• Contract type: Full-Time, Temporary (FTC till 31 March 2026)
• Additional Payments: Casual Car Allowance
• Closing date: 09 May 2025

Role Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team delivering the Early Years Delivery Model and The Team Around the Child.
• Support families with children under 5 requiring targeted interventions to meet developmental milestones.
• Coordinate services and interventions through Sure Start Children’s Centres.
• Develop a broad understanding of local children and families services and access criteria.

Requirements

• Hold a full valid driving licence and provide your own car (Casual Car User).
• Apply for an Enhanced DBS check.
• Experience and passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
