Cardiff Council is seeking a Grade 7 Family Help Team Leader to oversee a team delivering early intervention and prevention support for families in Cardiff. The post is part-time (14.5 hours per week) and part of a job-share arrangement, with hybrid working options and regular supervision.

The role requires leadership experience, a passion for improving family wellbeing, and the ability to work collaboratively with social workers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing staff and working within a team environment.
• Ability to lead by example with fairness and integrity.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills with diverse groups.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare considerations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop and support a team of Family Help Advisors to deliver bespoke early intervention and prevention support.
• Liaise with families, professionals and service users to coordinate appropriate support.
• Work alongside the Service Manager to develop and improve service delivery and quality.
