Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Family Help Lead Practitioner to support vulnerable children and families in Wiltshire. You will manage a caseload, lead from assessment through planning, and deliver targeted interventions while coordinating a multi-agency response.

A strong commitment to safeguarding children and young people is essential. The role offers hybrid working with on-site obligations and a focus on working with children, parents, and carers to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with vulnerable children.
• Deep understanding of child development and safeguarding policies.
• Commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload and guide cases from assessment to planning.
• Provide and support interventions, coordinating a multi-agency response.
• Support Social Work Colleagues working with CP and CIN.

Skills

Experience with vulnerable children

Education

NVQ Level 4 or equivalent
