Job summary

Nestlé Halifax Factory is seeking a Financial Business Partner to join the finance team. You will provide comprehensive financial support to the factory and the Factory Financial Controller, delivering costed insights and robust reporting to maximise efficiency.

You will be part or fully qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing finance, and you’ll drive cost improvements while ensuring compliance with Nestlé standards and audits. This is an on‑site, permanent role in Halifax.

Qualifications

• Experience in costing and factory accounting is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence across functions and build cross‑business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAPEX support and validate financials.
• Proactively challenge assumptions to drive cost improvements.
• Forecast and report on factory processes and monthly actuals.
• Handle month-end activities including journals and reconciliations.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and meet costing objectives.
• Assist in business planning with factory standard cost budgets and simulations.
• Identify opportunities through benchmarking and financial insight.
• Support robust internal controls over assets and liabilities.
• Develop the factory’s understanding of financial data for better decision‑making.
• Lead the UK&I NCE journey aligned with strategy.
• Stand in for the Factory Financial Controller as required.
