Job summary

Nestlé is seeking an Operations Controller for the UK&I team to act as a finance partner to the Operations function, leading the monthly accounting cycle, forecasting, and cost management while supporting strategic objectives. The role collaborates across Supply Chain, Quality Management and Customer Relationship Centre to deliver financial leadership and insight for performance improvement.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification such as CIMA or equivalent.
Strong budgeting, forecasting and performance management capabilities.
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
Proven ability to build effective relationships across finance and operations.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the monthly accounting cycle for Operations.
Coordinate period-end activities, reporting of actuals and forecasts.
Analyse variances, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to optimise operations and cash flow.
Provide financial support to Lean and improvement programmes.
Partner with stakeholders on cross-functional projects with insightful analysis.
Develop, evaluate and monitor capital investment plans.
