Job summary

Caledonia Housing Group is seeking a Factoring Officer to shape and modernise our factoring service. Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will drive regulatory compliance and data-driven improvements while delivering value for money for customers.

This hybrid role requires travel across our areas; a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential. You will manage homeowner accounts, service charges and monitor contractors to ensure high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience of estate management, factoring, housing maintenance/ management, surveying or letting agency.
• Demonstrable responsibility for budgetary control and performance management.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and outcomes for customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with homeowners, residents, contractors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an efficient, customer-focused factoring service to homeowners and mixed-tenure developments.
• Manage homeowner accounts, service charges, billing and debt recovery.
• Monitor contractors to ensure services are delivered to agreed standards and provide value for money.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant current legislation, service standards and best practice.
• Monitor and control delegated expenditure in line with budget provision.
• Undertake estate inspections and proactively address maintenance and service issues.
• Build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders, resolving enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Drive continuous improvement and modernisation of factoring services through digital innovation, data-driven decision making and process optimisation.
• Contribute to the Group's wider digital and data transformation agenda, enhancing customer experience and operational performance.
