ASA Recruitment’s client in Barrhead seeks a Factoring Officer on an initial 9-week contract. You will lead the factoring service, ensuring compliance with the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011 and Code of Conduct, while supporting the team in day-to-day delivery.

You will liaise with owners, interpret titles, manage costs and invoices, and drive excellent customer service within a social housing context.

Qualifications

• Experience leading factoring services in social housing or Local Authority housing.
• Knowledge of Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011 and Code of Conduct.
• Ability to interpret title deeds, costs apportionment and invoice management.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and deliver the organisation’s Factoring Service compliant with relevant legislation.
• Manage and assist the Factoring team in day-to-day service delivery and owner liaison.
• Respond to customer enquiries or complaints per procedures.
• Develop and maintain factoring policy and procedures, and mentor staff.
• Work with 1200 private owners of former Council houses on day-to-day repairs and major projects.
